Location: Los Angeles, California

Description:
Our natural resources are under increasing pressure from abiotic factors such as climate change and the need to manage for varied, often conflicting, multiple uses. Consequently, natural resource planners, managers, and policy makers are also under increasing pressure to justify their decisions to a broader range of stakeholders. Conservation and restoration of degraded ecosystems are high priorities throughout the Nation and require collaboration among multiple disciplines.

To enhance your ability to successfully meet the myriad restoration challenges, we invite you to participate in the interdisciplinary 3rd National Conference on Ecosystem Restoration. This is your opportunity to expand your knowledge, share your experience, and network with colleagues from across various disciplines such as engineering, science, economics and the social sciences. This is an excellent opportunity for you to increase your “toolbox” with cutting edge science, modeling, and data management tools. The conference also addresses the constraints and limitations imposed by contaminants, and climate change.
Start Date: 2009-07-20
