Description: What: Cedar Rapids, IA now has it’s own official Green Networking event. All are welcome at CR Green Drinks! Join us the 3rd Thursday of every month, starting around 5:30pm. The goal of our group is pretty simple: good times shared among people working in, or interested in, environmental and sustainability issues.

Description: The Expo features workshops and speakers covering a wide variety of topics related to renewable energy —wind, solar, sustainable living, green building, energy efficient technology, renewable fuels, alternative transportation, and advocacy. Plus, this year we have a strong focus on Green Jobs.

In addition, the I-Renew Energy & Sustainability Expo features a renewable energy & sustainability demonstration area that includes solar power, wind power, hydrogen storage fuel cells, and cars that run on alternative fuels. Numerous exhibitors from the business and non-profit communities will be on hand, including local food vendors. We\’re also holding the I-Renew Silent Auction as well as a Children\’s Program. Last year, more than 1,300 attended the Expo to see 70 presenters and 90 exhibitors.
