Description: The United Nations Environment Programme has appointed Pittsburgh to be North America’s Host for World Environment Day 2010. The Water Matters! Conference is part of Pittsburgh’s answer to the call.

Learn about the region’s leading water innovators, problem solvers and applied technologies. The daylong conference will conclude with a networking reception and exhibition providing hands-on activities and displays.

The conference is open to the public and intended for all audiences.
Cost to attend is $25 and includes lunch.

Description: Festival goers will have the opportunity to meet with “Green”
vendors to learn what they can do in their homes/businesses. There
will be a passport program in which children can complete
different activities and earn a prize. Food will be for sale by local
Bucks County Farms. The Mercer County Wildlife Center AND the
Schuylkill Center Wildlife Rehab Clinic will be here to do animal
shows. We’ll also have a free concert by the Wissahickon Chicken
Shack. AND much more!!

Members may include anybody who wants to talk green.
