Solar Oregon Hosts Clean Energy Pavilion at 2010 Better Living Show

Attendees are Invited to Meet Northwest Solar Professionals and Learn about Clean Energy Saving Technologies and Techniques for the Home and Workplace

PORTLAND, Ore.  – The third annual Energy Trust Better Living Show, March 26 – 28 at the Portland Expo Center, features the Solar Oregon Clean Energy Pavilion, offering attendees a chance to have direct access to local solar and renewable energy professionals and products. With a bigger space, this year’s pavilion features almost two-dozen northwest solar and green technology professionals. From wind technology, geothermal, hydropower, tax incentives or simply looking for alternative energy solutions, there is something for everyone at the Solar Oregon Clean Energy Pavilion.

Hosted by Solar Oregon, a non-profit offering programs to help individuals and businesses switch to solar, guests will be able to view the top technologies in solar energy for the home and for commercial use. From simple actions like purchasing green power to large-scale solar projects to heat an entire house, attendees will find experts to walk them through the best clean tech and local options available today.

For homeowners ready to take efficiency to the next level inside and out, Ridgeline Electric and Design offers the best in energy efficient lighting choices or completely change the appeal of your home with an eco roof from SolTerra Systems. 

Turn Your Furniture Into Energy. Think your couch, wall, or bar table is a waste of space? Why not turn it into passive solar energy to heat your house or business? Solar Interior Design owner and innovator, Ray Pokorny, shows off artificial rocks, sofas and tables that can turn your living space into a self-heating, sustainable area using passive solar technology.
